Eco-Fashion with a Passion for Cycling

A leading eco-fashion brand has released its new 2010 summer collection to the sports market; recognising the benefits of natural fabrics in sport. These natural fabrics have some impressive qualities.

“The great thing about using eco-fabrics in sportswear is that often they are softer, more breathable, and stretchier than their synthetic counterparts. This means that bamboo fabric makes the perfect cycling jersey it’s light, breathable, highly absorbent and wicks water away from the body 3 to 4 times faster than cotton, it also stops odour-producing bacteria from growing allowing it to remain fresher smelling for longer.

Being naturally soft means it doesn’t stick to the skin or rub, so bamboo clothing helps keep the wearer drier, cooler and more comfortable.
