Eco Pants and Socks / Boxer Shorts

Snug. One word used in the design brief and the one word that gets used to describe these super soft men's boxer shorts.

A simple combination of incredibly soft natural fabrics and a gentleman's cut makes these possibly the greatest pants you'll own.

These men's boxer shorts were made in a Fair Wear Foundation audited factory. They were transported by ship, not air and hand-finished in the UK.

About our Boxer Shorts

This product started life as a cotton plant in the Aegean region of Turkey. The cotton is harvested and ginned locally, then transported to Izmir by truck. At Izmir the fibre is spun up into a jersey fabric. The jersey is then cut and sewn into garments. This factory is OEKO-TEX 100 standard certified and ISO 14001 certified. It is also a member of Fair Wear Foundation, who’s code of labour practises ensure a better deal for workers.

Garments are transported by ship to Trieste, then trucked Plymouth via London. Here they are hand-finished, which creates UK jobs. The finished product is then freighted to, and distributed from, Rapanui HQ on the Isle of Wight.

Award-Winning Traceability

It is impossible to make an ethical choice if you don’t know where clothing comes from and how it is made. Very few people do these days, even high-street stores themselves. At Rapanui you can investigate the whole supply chain and find out the details about where this item was made, who made it, and how it got here, from Seed to shop. It is called traceability.
