Met Office Mens / Met Office Heavy Blame Tee

We love to blame it on the weatherman, especially on rainy days. As heavy rain leads to heavy blame, the public points a cloudy finger at our meteorological heroes. At the end of the day it's all in good fun, its part of our culture and this tee celebrates it!

This Organic cloud t-shirt was made in a wind-powered, Fairwear Foundation audited factory and is printed on 100% Organic Cotton. Hand-finished on the Isle of Wight.

About our Met Office Heavy Blame Tee

This traceability map shows the supply chain of our organic cotton jersey and fleece products, which make up the majority of our sales.

The Organic cotton is plucked in Ahmedebad, North-Western India - and transported to a local ginning factory by a camel. The ginned cotton is taken by truck then cut and sewn in Coimbatore in the South. Both factories are audited by Fair Wear Foundation and powered by vestas wind turbines. The products are shipped from Tuticorin to Felixstowe, and then trucked to Plymouth where they are printed using phtalate free inks, and hand finished with trims, using labels made locally. The finished product is shipped to, and dispatched from, Rapanui HQ on the Isle of Wight.

Award-Winning Traceability

It is impossible to make an ethical choice if you don’t know where clothing comes from and how it is made. Very few people do these days, even high-street stores themselves. At Rapanui you can investigate the whole supply chain and find out the details about where this item was made, who made it, and how it got here, from Seed to shop. It is called traceability.
