Rapanui is a company that was started out by two brothers, one a business graduate and the other a renewable energy engineer.

Profit was never a priority (they didnt think they'd make any) it was just a challenge to see if they could make a range that was the cutting-edge in sustainability; it also had to fit their lifestyle; comfy and stylish and green.

In the business you see today, that challenge is still the core. A small team each with an expertise but all sharing this same challenge; to develop the greenest products in the world, the cutting-edge in sustainability.

Aside from the design of fitted, fashionable clothing, the environmental ethos involves three areas of focus:

1- Response to Climate Change
2- Natural, Organic and Ethical Fabrics
3- Fair Trade and Manufacture

Each as important as each other, Rapanui endeavours to take a 'total' approach to sustainability.
