With degrees in Renewable Energy and Business between them, the Drake-Knight brothers founded the company on an ambitious sustainable business model. Rapanui quickly established itself amongst the most ethically progressive green clothing companies around recently working with Ben & Jerrys and Centrica Plc Environmentally, the brand takes a holistic approach to implementing sustainable alternatives: we evaluate the entire product life cycle and choose sustainable solutions that deliver the best net effect on the environment for our money. Throughout our site and beside our products we inform and re-educate people about exactly where our clothing comes from and how it is made. You can see real photos, facts and figures, ask questions and make an informed choice. No spin. No greenwash. We call it Transparency. We are against just ticking the green box; critically this company has a culture of Doing not Aiming. We believe it is our duty to inspire people to consider their own effect on the environment, and on poorer countries, through sustainable fashion. We donate 5% of profit to environmental charities.
